Cameroonian apprentices for trades & industry.
Cameroon is not a random country of origin but a deliberate choice: since 2023 we have built our own qualification structure here, the IVTIE partner language school, a recruiting system and the involvement of families. The result: candidates we have known since their first German lesson.
Context
Why Cameroon?
Francophone-bilingual educational tradition
Cameroon is bilingual (French/English), young people are used to learning in several languages. German as a third language is a realistic, motivating goal for many.
Many technical baccalaureate holders
Many of our candidates hold a technical baccalaureate. The academic foundation for the dual system is significantly stronger than in many other recruitment channels.
Strong motivation, clear perspective
Training in Germany is a recognised life goal in Cameroon, supported by the families, whom we deliberately involve in the decision.
The structure on site
Not a mailbox office, an established system
IVTIE, the partner language school
Founded October 2023. Full A1 to B2 curriculum, official exams (Goethe, ÖSD, telc, ECL), integration courses, language café, cinema, library.
The recruiting system
Structured selection: record checks, motivation interviews, learning assessments, developed and run by our team on site.
Family involvement
Training abroad is a family decision. We speak to the families before the first course begins, measurably reducing drop-out risks.

From an SOS call to a system
10/2023
Founding of the IVTIE language school
Start of A1 lessons with the first cohort in Cameroon.
2024
Building the recruiting system
Structured selection processes, requirement profiles, family conversations.
2024–2025
First tested placements
Pilot placements, including Douglas as a chef apprentice at DEHOGA in Erfurt, validate the 4-phase system end to end.
11/2025
Registration of DK Zuvis Consulting
DK-Zukunftsvision Consulting L.P. Maffengang, Weimar, the German structure for placement and integration.
