IVTIE: Institute of Vocational Training and Intercultural Exchange, in French Institut de Formation Professionelle et d'Échange Interculturel (IFPEI), was founded in Cameroon in October 2023 and is the exclusive qualification partner of DK Zuvis. Here, young Cameroonians are guided from their first German lesson to the official B2 certificate, while being prepared in parallel for everyday life, work culture and vocational school in Germany.

The curriculum
A1–A2
Everyday communication, pronunciation, learning techniques. Students here are learning a foreign language systematically for a life goal for the first time, so we build the foundation twice as carefully. Completed with an internal level exam.
B1
Goal: the official certificate exam (Goethe-Zertifikat B1 / ÖSD / telc). From a passed B1 exam onwards, candidates are eligible to apply for training, with a document every chamber and immigration office recognises.
B2
Trade-specific German (construction, metal, electrical, care …), vocational school vocabulary, exam training. Goal: the B2 certificate before entry, so the first day of vocational school is not a shock but a normal school day.
Exams
Preparation and administration of official exams in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Cameroon (Yaoundé) and recognised partners. The Goethe B1/B2, ÖSD, telc and ECL certificates are recognised by chambers of industry and crafts and by immigration authorities. On the team: an ÖSD/Goethe specialist and a telc/ECL specialist with decades of examination experience.
More than language lessons
Authorities, housing, insurance, punctuality and work culture, the dual system and vocational school, taught by lecturers who know both countries.
Free speaking in everyday situations: shopping, at the doctor's, at work. No grades, but real speaking routine.
Listening comprehension and cultural understanding through films and series, everyday German at original speed instead of textbook dialogues.
German books, magazines and learning media for daily immersion, also outside lesson times.
CV to German standards, video interviews with German companies, practised until it sticks.
